We’re super excited to offer you this SUPER clean, first-owner example.

This watch was brought to us by the daughter of the initial owner, who kept it a while after her father passed, and has now come to terms with selling it.

Let us give you a quick run down of what we have here.

The watch was purchased new in 1979 as a Rolex Day-Date 36 ref. 18038. This example features a champagne coloured dial with tritium lumed hour markers, and a T Swiss T 6 o’clock dial inscription.

It features a Calibre 3055 with single quick set function for the date and luckily we also still have the famous full gold President bracelet with hidden clasp, and full links.

The owner has searched for the box & papers several times, but until now she hasn’t had any luck.

It might still be hidden in some of the cardboard boxes she used when clearing out her fathers house, but chances are it was thrown out with other things.

I guess that’s how these things get separated.

Condition wise, it’s as honest as it gets. In its 45 years of service the watch has never been polished, as can clearly be seen in the photos.

Yes, it has been worn, it’s not NOS, but that also is not what most people want.

This is just a VERY clean, unpolished, carefully worn example of one of the most iconic watches out here, available now for an honest price as usual.
