Rolex Datejust 36 ‘Polar Dial’

Price: €5.500

This watch really doesn’t need an introduction. The iconic 36mm Rolex Datejust. Here we have one with a super bright white dial with silver hour markers. Arguably the most elegant and fresh configuration in the 16220 line up, paired with the half-moon jubilee bracelet and the robust engine turned bezel. Let’s talk a second about its condition. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pre-2000’s Rolex in this state and believe me, I have seen a few. The edges of the lugs remain razor sharp, which is often not the case with these Datejusts. People have them polished by amateurs that completely soften the edges. The dial is as crisp as it was in 1994 and the rest of the case has next to no scratches or marks. The silver hour markers can, depending on how they catch the light, look black, white or any color it reflects at that moment.

These pristine examples are becoming harder and harder to find and we can’t imagine this one staying up for sale for too long. Priced at the bottom of the market, this stunner won’t lose any value either.
